There are two weeks left to see the Australian Outback Spectacular 2! On November 23rd, 2011, the dinner theatre will perform its second production, ‘Heroes of the Light Horse’, for the last time, before introducing a new show, ‘Spirit of the Horse’!
Australian Outback Spectacular 2, ‘Heroes of the Light Horse’, has been entertaining audiences from around the world for over two successful years. This production, proudly presented by R.M. Williams, pays tribute to the heroes of the Australian Light Horse Brigade, the Australian stock men and women, through a variety of impressive scenes.
In this show, racing Australian stock horses, stampeding cattle, incredible horsemanship performances, muster vehicles ripping through the arena, a mustering helicopter flying above, spectacular special effects, iconic Aussie tunes and a skilled and humorous cast
bring the brave spirit of the Outback to life!
As this show concludes, Australian Outback Spectacular is introducing its third chapter of the saga. On December 6th, 2011, ‘Spirit of the Horse’, a production celebrating the Australian horse legend, Phar Lap, launches. Also presented by R.M. Williams, this show will retell one of the stories Australia is most proud of—the story of how one inspiring horse gave a nation in turmoil courage and hope.
This story is performed by a talented cast of quirky characters, as well as magnificent animals, and is set to a unique musical score, composed and written by country music legend Lee Kernaghan. All of the production’s impressive elements encourage the audience to celebrate Phar Lap, a hero to a nation!
Common to all of Australian Outback Spectacular’s shows is the world-class arena, the quality food and drink and the excitement in the crowds! The giant arena comfortably seats 1000 guests and the stadium ensures great viewing for all. Further, as the storylines take audiences on historical journeys, they make their way through a three-course Aussie feast and unlimited beer or wine!
The high-energy shows encourage audience involvement; in addition to singing along with the Aussie anthems, audience members from opposing stations compete, cheering for their teams. Since opening in 2006, the Australian Outback Spectacular’s shows have been well received and have pleased over one million people. It looks forward to entertaining many more with its new show, ‘Spirit of the Horse’!
